Infinity Systems Engineering has teamed as a subcontractor with Kratos Defense and Security Solutions to receive an eight-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract award worth up to $579M. The contract, Command-and-Control-System Consolidated Sustainment and Resiliency (C-SAR), provides for the enhancement and sustainment of critical Military Satellite Communication (MILSATCOM) Command and Control (C2) systems through November 2031.

The C-SAR contract is a follow-on to the Command-and Control-System Consolidated (CCS-C) Production and Sustainment Contract (CPASC) contract, where Infinity will continue to provide Cybersecurity Engineering, Integration and Testing, and System Administration/Operational support to CCS-C capability and its users. This support will enable C2 of the Defense Satellite Communications System (DCSC III), Milstar, Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF), and Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellite communications systems from both Schriever Space Force Base (SFB) in Colorado and Vandeberg SFB in California. These four constellations are currently comprised of 26 MILSATCOM satellites.

Infinity’s expertise in Cyber/Information Assurance, Integration and Testing of system software, and C2 operations support will also enable CCS-C’s next major upgrade, the addition of WGS-11. This enhancement will allow the U.S. Space Force to control the most advanced, resilient, and capable WGS satellite to date.

Infinity was awarded a subcontract with Lockheed Martin on their Space Based Infrared System Contractor Logistics Support (SBIRS) Product support Integration Contract Evolution (SPICE) contract.

The SBIRS contributes to the missile defense system, contributing early warning, defense, awareness and technical intelligence to both the defense and intelligence communities. The SBIRS provides early missile warning for the U.S. military through infrared surveillance. It evolved from the Defense Support Program to meet requirements of defense and intelligence communities as part of the missile defense system. It also provides battlespace awareness and technical intelligence for both communities.

SBIRS has powerful overhead sensors that provide vast amounts of data. At the SBIRS Mission Control Station, Overhead Persistent Infrared Battlespace Awareness Center at Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado, this data is being used for operational applications across areas like battlespace awareness, intelligence and 24/7 tactical alerts.

Infinity team members conduct or participate in the research, design, development, and testing of COTS or custom computing hardware and/or other electrical components. They develop designs for the installation of components and assemblies into chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, customer facilities, and/or shelters. The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Cogswell Award was awarded to Infinity Systems Engineering for the third time in the 27-year history of the company. Infinity is the only Colorado based company to earn this prestigious award. This award is the highest, awarded honor that DCSA recognizes, and it focuses on the principles of industrial security excellence.

To be considered for this award, “a facility must be nominated by their assigned Industrial Security Representative. That facility must have achieved two consecutive superior ratings to be considered for the award.” After consideration, the nominations go through two more in-depth rounds of raking until the final decision is met by DCSA senior leaders based on, “overall security program, senior management support, security vulnerability assessments, security education and awareness, facility security officer (FSO) and security staff level of experience, and classified material controls.”

Only less than 1% of cleared contractors qualify for the Cogswell each year, and Infinity defied the odds further by being in the 0.00016% to have won in the western U.S. region. As a small/mid-size, private company, we are incredibly proud of our team whose hard work led to this achievement.

“It's an incredible honor for Infinity to be recognized with a third Cogswell Award. Our security team is exceptional! Execution Excellence is one of our four immutable goals, and this recognition serves as an important testimonial of execution excellence in our Industrial Security program.”

    - Dan Jaworowski, President of Infinity Systems Engineering
